My partner and I stayed 2 nights in the hotel; although aware of the close proximity to the nightclub we where not prepared for stragglers walking up and down the street until 4am singing/dancing/drinking. We booked a king room and requested a double bed and we arrived to find two singles, the room also advertised a DVD player and designer toiletries neither of which where present. Also due to the fact our room was directly above the restaurant the temperature was unbearable all day and night and we had to request a fan! I will however comment on the very good breakfast available, there was a great choice of fruit, pastries, yoghurt, fruit juice and toast plus a huge Scottish breakfast which was inevitably the best thing about the hotel. The cleanliness level was spot on though so no complaints there. Overall I wouldn't be in a hurry to pay £99 a night again! |
