Nice bedroom with lovely ensuite though shower door obviously a problem. Fell off first night and tricky to put back! Good soup, fresh crusty bread, excellent breakfasts. A lovely country pub in super setting, but food could have been so much more inviting if iemphasis placed on fresh, local produce. There must be some really good butchers around serving home made sausages and why veg flown in from Africa for a roast when we are awash with suitable local vegetables at this time of year? Quiet time of year and food seemed a little tired, puddings uninteresting and not very fresh. Staff were very pleasant and anxious to please. |

Excellent value for money. Staff really helpful. The only slight criticism is the bar area could do with a refurb, otherwise very good. |

We stayed here during a day visit to a nearby spa, and had dinner in Stratford in the evening. The hotel was very nice, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was great. If you want to go into Stratford the cab ride for us was £12 each way so not too expensive. |
