Batemans Mill Country Hotel is situated in a quiet rural area near Chesterfield and on the edge of the Peak District. Originally a flour mill dating from 1831, the building was derelict for years until its conversion in 1990. The underground stream that the building sits on has been made into a feature and the sound of trickling water in the bar adds to the relaxed atmosphere whilst providing an interesting talking point. With ample parking, 8 lovely en suite rooms, ground floor bar and restaurant, first floor Millers Restaurant, private dining room and conference facilities. The Mill is the ideal location whether on business or visiting the area. Family run by John and Maggie Roberts assisted by their son Steven, the family has established the Hotel and Restaurant as one of the finest in the area.
