Stayed 2 nights as daughter's wedding reception was being held at the hotel. The 3 rooms I booked were in the annexe and smelt very musty as there was thick black mould around the window frame and mould on the bathroom ceiling. The rest of the room, although a bit dated, was lovely and clean with plenty of refreshments and loads of toiletries in the bathroom. Had a bar meal on the Thursday evening which was very nice. On Saturday morning there was only one poor girl trying to cope with breakfast for a full hotel so there was a delay in making sure the buffet was replenished and bringing tea, coffee and toast to the tables so it was a bit chaotic. Breakfast was good but the choice was a bit limited. I cannot fault the hotel at all with regard to the wedding reception itself as the organisation, service and food were all superb. |
