As a single traveller I was pleasantly surprised to be given such a nice room, with a double bed and a whirlpool bath. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during my stay but it looked wonderful and I would definitely stay again, probably for a longer period to make the most of the facilities. There was a wedding reception going on when I stayed and the final touches are being made to hotel renovations but neither of these disturbed my stay and the staff were calm and relaxed. A great find! |

I was staying in one of the ground floor annexxes. The room was a bit like a Premier Inn room. Everything you would need and clean, nicely decorated and tidy. The bathroom was lovely and bright, fresh, clean and had a bath and separate shower. Nice touches with tissue boxes, shower gel, etc. The pool was very nice and the gym looked well equipped. The evening meal was slow to arrive and was a bit pub food standard. The breafast in the morning was very good though, and the waitresses attended everybody well, removing finished plates and keeping the food topped up. Recommended. |

Good choice of bar food (restaurant quite empty since most people seem to prefer the bar). Excellent new rooms with plenty of space. Pleasant gardens for a stroll and drink outside. |
