The Watermill Hotel

For a no frills budget hotel this was OK. Room was a bit shabby and the shaverpoint didn't work but they moved me to another room. There was little parking, outside the hotel was a council pay and display which you had to pay for.
Perhaps I had been spoilt by my previous visits to Paisley where for a few pounds more I had stayed at the Ash tree House Hotel which was on another level and far superior.

The room was situated at the rear of the hotel,next to the waterfall,which although loud,didn't affect sleeping at night.I had dinner on one night which was 6/10,and breakfast I would give 8/10.Overall it's a good value for money hotel,ideal for visiting Braehead shopping mall,Xscape,and Glasgow is only20 min away - I would stay here again.

i cant see any faults in this hotel we had an enjoyable stay

Staff efficient, and very helpful in arranging an early continental breakfast. Night porter was very attentive and professional.
Our only problem was the room size (very small for a double) and the carpet was a bit stained. Also, in the bathroom, the grouting of the tiles could have been cleaner.
The biggest bugbear was having no shower shelf, on which to place our soap and shampoo!
