For a really great value visit to the Thames Valley, there is no better location than the Fox and Hounds. We are about 30 minutes from Oxford, Henley, Reading and High Wycombe and easily accessible from the M40. The Fox and Hounds is very much part of village life. Our en-suite rooms are in a barn conversion well away from the bar and restaurant. Situated close to the towns of Oxford, Henley upon Thames and High Wycombe, just off J6 of the M40 with excellent access to London and Heathrow. Surrounded by the beautiful Chilterns within 1 mile of the Ridgeway and Chiltern way this Traditional inn offers the ideal place to relax and unwind.

Friendly welcoming inn, made very welcome by the staff and the local customers. Would definitely stay again

1 drawer had previous customers rubbish in it,(its probably still there),bath Panel rotten, cobwebs eveywhere

The bathroom looked as though someone had been in a fight - mirror ripped off the wall, bath panel had holes ripped out of it and the shower was completely broken. Rug and floors in the bedroom were dirty. Breakfast was badly organised (they seemed unable to cope with being full).

I would not regard this as a 4* hotel. The room was avergae, the only food on the menu was pizza (fact) and the internet connection would not work.
