The hotel is a little more than a walk away from the city centre, but there are frequent buses, or the taxi ride is not too expensive, and easily available. |

An excellent stay and we found the staff very helpful. Breakfast was superb and no queues!! Although a little out of the centre of Verona, it can be reached by a short bus ride. We chose to walk back to the hotel and see a bit of the city, this walk took 40 minutes and was easy and was a great excuse to use the hotel bar on getting back! The rooms were very clean and air conditioning was good. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and I would certainly stay there again. |

We visited Lake Garda for a week but needed an overnight stay in Verona, arrived around 23:00. Maxim is a very good hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, late bar person was especially good on arrival. Breakfast was excellent and we left our car in the secure car park to visit Verona next day. Location is about 2 miles out of centre but there are regular public buses about 5 minutes from Maxim for €2 return to the Arena. We booked the Maxim on Laterooms for €58 which was terrific value for money and would rate the Maxim highly. |

Hotel very good in general - 3 other comments - inappropriate musack in dining room, scavenging in waste disposal bins near front of hotel, and no/little warning given one night that restaurant closed for party |
