Nice family run hotel, frendly staff. Bathroom a little small and tired but acceptable, nice position over looking the downs, possible sea view from upper rooms. Breakfast was very good, this review for quality of food, is only based on breakfast. good selction of fruit juice / cereal / youguat /full cooked breakfast including fresh hadack. games room for younger family members. Internet access / PS3 / TV - I think a pool table - I would check that.

This hotel is really a B & B , it is trying to be something it is not. The restaurant is expensive and the quality of the food poor. I paid nearly £ 20 for a steak with a few vegetables, no choice of potatoes. The steak was of poor quality and over cooked, & swimming in sauce!, The service is attentive to the point of being intrusive. The breakfast is just ok, nothing to write home about. At £ 79 for 1 night / 1 person, this is pricey, nothing special about this place, small double bed, good job it was only for me!!.....tiny shower & no bath, if you want a glorified guest house this is for you!....it is not set up for the business traveler..........and stops serving food at 20.30.............!!!

We found The Camelot Hotel very welcoming, the staff were excellent and friendly. Our rooms were of a very high standard, clean and well equiped. We would certainly stay there again and would reccomend others to do so as well if visiting Bude

Hotel good and pretty clean. Staff friendly . Would go back. Bude - nice beach, but town centre needs major tlc and some decent restaurants as seems to be only the tacky cafe fare..shame.
