rooms were disappointingly small and there were no views. Shower and sink cramped with nowhere to put toiletries. Very few facilities in room.No locks on the doors made us feel uncomfortable about leaving things behind when we went out. Mattress was old lumpy and with springs sticking through. Overpriced B&B. Neat clean and tidy though and proprieters were very nice and friendly. |

we received a very warm welcome from the b and b owners and their resident peacock (Oswald). the place was easy to find and very peaceful. the room was lovely, comfortable and warm. the breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. they had lots of leaflets on the area and the husband in particular was very knowledgeable about the area which was useful to us as we wanted to know more about the area as my partners grandparents were from the area many years ago. the variety of treees and plants from abroad in the garden were impressive and very lovely. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldnt hesitate to stay their again. have already recommended to friends and family. very impressed, lovely!!! |
