The Acer is an elegant 4 star, award winning, licensed B&B with parking located on a quiet residential street only 10 miuntes walk from the city and racecourse and 15 minutes walk from the station. The owner, Karen, offers a warm professional welcome and friendly service in a relaxed and pleasant, non smoking environment.
Superior en suite accommodation is provided; housekeeping is of the highest standard. Breakfast may be served in the privacy of your own room.
Check in times are generally between 10am to 1pm and 5pm to 9pm. Check in may also be available outside of these hours by special arrangement. Guests are kindly requested to specify their estimated time of arrival, to within an hour, at the time of booking.

Shower was a bit dribbly. Stay was excellent in every other respect. Quality, location, cleanliness, food all excellent. We will return.

looked after very well, lovely breakfast .My 76 year old mother who is very active did struggle with the distance to walk from the centre but a taxi was only £3-£4 one way.

The hotel had a very friendly feel and is a short walk from York Station. The attention to detail was perfect and the freshly cooked breakfast was of much better quality than other hotels in the area.
