This is the only time i can remember staying in a 4* hotel where the restaurant did not have any table for a resident- considering it was a Sunday evening and way out of town this was unforgiveable . |

Although this is a first class hotel, the quality of the food is what you would expect. The dinner was luke warm, and the cooked breakfast wasn't really up to much, although there was a good choice from the buffet. We did have a great cream tea in the afternoon! |

We only stayed for one night on Sunday after a lovely Sunday lunch. All aspects of the hotel - staff, food, surroundings and facilities were wonderful. Worth booking with Late Rooms as we saved about £55. |

The hotel is well presented in a stunning location. The rooms were clean and of a good standard but in need of more plush feel giving the prices been charged. The atmosphere was generally very stuffy. The only sign of life in the place was the head waiter who threw a hissy fit when we turned up for dinner without a dinner jacket. would have been embarrassing but we could not stop laughing at him. In general 90% of the patrons were retired and best leave it to them |
