An excellent hotel. The service and food was excellent.

Second visit to this hotel and will definately stay here again. The hotel is immaculate and staff are excellent. 11 out of 10

Very friendly well run hotel,from the minute we arrived we were greeted with smiles and the feeling that nothing was too much trouble.Speedy check-in with offers of taking our bags to our room.Room was spotless and with nice touches like different types of coffee,decanter of sherry waiting,en-suite was a touch small but you don't sleep in it so wasn't an issue,bed very big and comfortable and the best pillows i've ever slept on.Didn't have an evening meal although it was offered but did have breakfast,quality bacon,sausages and mushrooms made the breakfast,wanted another!
If your ever need somewhere to stay in southport then here you must stay,oh and make sure you say hello to sampson the dog.

Simply excellent. We booked a double room but the hotel upgraded us. The receptionist was really friendly and the room was absolutely delightful. I would have no recommendations at all in recommending this hotel. Absolutely First Class!!

Friendly staff & easy to find We have stayed once before and had a huge room. This time the attic room we were in (which was very pretty) was a lot smaller and the ensuite had just a shower attachment over the bath, which isn't as good as a proper shower. I think this was due to the limited head room - its only a very minor criticism. I wouldn't hesistate to stay again. We only had breakfast , which was great, but did smell the dinner cooking the night before - it smelt fantastic! If you like dogs, you must ask to see Sampson the hotel dog - he is absolutely gorgeous.
