Directions to Great Danes Country Inn by The Green

From the A10 - or Downham Market Mainline Train Station, take the A1122 towards Swaffham (A47), passing thro' Stadsett and Fincham, in approx 3 miles, going past RAF Marham Airfield on the left side of the road, take the second turning on the right after leaving Fincham - signposted to Beachamwell -White Rd - straight over the X road. Then 2nd turn on right - Chestnut Walk - onto Village Green where you will find the Great Danes on the left with the Car Park to the side. Please use Side Main Door when 'Pub' is closed. Restaurant & Bar open at 6.00 PM every evening.

A quiet family run establishment with nice rooms, good food served and excellent beer in the bar.

This is a truly wonderful Inn with great real ales, a roaring fire, great home-cooked food and a very relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are very nice and well presented. The Danes is a real hidden gem. I'd recommend it to anyone. Thanks for the great stay!

We have stayed in many hotels but have never been made to feel so welcome and like one of the regulars. The accommodation is faultless and the staff go out of their way to accommodate your every need. We plan to return as soon as possible and would happily recommend the Inn to anyone.
