Less than 10 minutes walk from Colosseo and the Rome Central Station, in a quiet and elegant area in the Historical center of Rome, you find Gioia B&B, where you are welcome into a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
The B&B being situated only 100 mt from the subway (metropolitana A line), and close to numerous bus and tramway lines, you have no problems moving around. Within 5/10 minutes you can reach all the principal sights, from Vatican Museum, the Spanish steps and Villa Borghese to Colosseo, Terme di Caracalla and the pittoresque Campo de Fiori and the Trastevere district.
If you prefer to walk, Colosseo e Roman Forum is only a 10 minute walk away, the Trevi Fountain can be reached within 10 min.

The woman that owns it is so sweet and helpful. Very large rooms. Clean, large private bathroom. Really nice compared to other places I've stayed for comprable money. Nice location - close to metro stop, and residential area, not touristy. Decent breakfast, in respect to Italian standards. Let us leave our bags there during the day even after we checked out, which is always nice. Had to pay cash, even though we'd reserved with a card, but I think that's pretty standard.

This B&B is excellent value for money. Near to Manzoni Metro stop. Our room was very spacious & really clean. Breakfast was basic but with a good choice & served in the lovely courtyard garden room. The owner is really helpful but with limited English. We would definately recommend & would visit again!

i didn't like the matrases, the food was very dall. no changing of the towels. but we could use the kichen any time of the day.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL ! Staff dont speak English anv very unhelpfull, I paid online and they wanted to charge my again , I spent 20 minutes on the phone to England trying to resolve the problem. Air condition did not work. WASTE OF MONEY.

This was an excellent value for two traveling university students. The owner is extremely nice and very accommodating. Since she prefers cash, she doesn't insist you pay until the second day to give you time to get actual money. The location is very quiet and yet very close to one of the metro stations. Colosseum is about a 10 minute walk, Vatican about 25 minutes, Trevi Fountain about 25 minutes, and Spanish steps about 25 minutes. I would defiantly recommend!
