We were warmly greeted at the hotel by a friendly and helpfull receptionist. The room was very well laid out and very nicely decorated. The bar was also very pleasant and again very helpfull. |

I felt that the photographs did not depict the true quality of our room. The carpeting was disgusting, the bed was soft, the furniture and decor was awful. The shower was effected by the use of the taps and the towels were pathetic. We carried our large suitcase up 3 sets of stairs and couldn't wait to leave from the moment we arrived. |

Overall, this hotel was very good and is set in a nice village. We stayed because we were attending a wedding nearby and were very pleased with the excellent customer service. They had our reservation waiting, phoned a taxi company to get us to the wedding and even provided a long list of taxi firms in the area for the journey back. My only gripe (being a light sleeper) is that our room overlooked the road and this was at times noisy and the windows are not double glazed. If I stayed again I would request a stable room or one that did not overlook the road. Also, the bed was a bit soft for my liking. The hotel benefits from a good bar and restaurant as well. Full english breakfast was included in our rate which is always a plus. |
