A bit isolated, hotel in the middle of a (nice) residential area with poor links an a long stretch to tube station (too far to walk) but pleasant staff and good decor. Room cold at night. Good value, plenty of car parking. |

Breakfast included cold tinned tomatoes and tinned mushrooms; when toast eventually appeared it wasn't as ordered. |

The approach to the room was rather scruffy. The room was very small for a double and the amount of furniture in it made it difficult to get around the bed. The lead to the kettle didn't comfortably reach the plug, which meant it was precariously perched on the very edge of the chest of drawers - rather dangerous! The shower room was possibly the smallest I've ever seen in a hotel and the provision of soap etc. the most minimal. The bright spot in the stay came from the reception staff, who were friendly, helpful and efficient. |
