Staff were generally pleasant and helpful but the restaurant menu was not inspiring. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was never more than lukewarm. Although the room was quirte large there was only one chair provided. Drawer space was inadequate. |

Rooms basic and dated and overpriced. Handy for visiting Falkland Palace and St Andrews. Restaurant has good reputation but did not eat in it - bar snacks we had were tasty. Heated pool was cold and Jacuzzi was not filled. Breakfast staff very helpful. |

The food was amazing and very well priced, the hotel itself was nice enough and the staff, when they realised you were there, were reasonably helpful. The room was a little smaller than I was expecting for the money but had everything needed in it including a reasonable selection of TV channels (something which many hotels seem to forget about). I'd say go for the food if nothing else, as this was 4* food at 2* prices. |
