This lovely property is housed on the first floor of a 16th century palace, tastefully renovated preserving its original Venetian atmosphere. It is a non smoking property all throughout and there is no lift. Hotel San Maurizio *, located in the same building, offers nice rooms with and without bathroom: an ideal solution for tourists who want to enjoy Venice on a budget.
All rooms are refurbished in the most elegant and delicate Venetian Style to create a typical Venetian atmosphere. They all have air conditioning/heating, safe box, mini bar, telephone, satellite TV, and hairdryer. Some of the rooms offer excellent views of Venice and Campo(Square)San Maurizio.

FROM THE AIRPORT : The Alilaguna Boat Shuttle is a public service leaving every hour . In 1 hour and 10 minutes you reach San Marco Boat Station .From here take your left hand and go through the main street Via XXII Marzo , reach Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, cross 2 bridges. At the end of the second bridge you will see the Hotel in Calle Zaguri 2625. You can also decide to take a private taxi boat that in 30 minutes will reach the closest canal of the Hotel . FROM TRAIN STATION AND CAR PARKINGS OF PIAZZALE ROMA : You can take the public boat (Vaporetto) N°1 and get off at the Boat Station named Santa Maria del Giglio (Station N°13) follow the narrow way to Campo (Square) Santa Maria del Giglio , turn on the left cross 2 bridges. At the end of the second bridge you will see the Hotel in Calle Zaguri 2625. Also here you can take a private water taxi and reach the closest canal of the Hotel in 10/15 minutes. FROM TRONCHETTO CAR PARKING : The only possible means is the public boat (Vaporetto) ACTV N° 82. You will reach San Marco Boat Station .From there take your left hand and continue through the main street Via XXII Marzo . reach Campo Santa Maria del Giglio, cross 2 bridges. At the end of the second bridge you will see the Hotel in Calle Zaguri 2625

This hotel is in a lovely location only a few minutes walk from St Marks square. We found the staff very helpful and willing but the quality of the room was poor although clean.The room was very small with paperthin walls and had little storage space thoughprobably ok for a short stay just a single wardrobe and no drawers.The plumbing was unusual in that whenever we had a shower water leaked down the mirror inside the bedroom. I hope I am not sounding too negative as to be fair we paid only 237 euros for three nights with breakfast which for Venice is cheap.So overall like nost things you get what you pay for .
