The Feathers Hotel in Ludlow is internationally recognised for its beautiful jacobean architecture and medieval heritage. Recently described in the New York Times, 'I dare say it is the most handsome Inn in the world.....everybody knows of it. It is one of the prime images of Olde England, portrayed in posters and brochures wherever tourism is known'
Situated at the heart of the ancient market town of Ludlow, there are excellent craft and antique shops and a wealth of historic buildings, all with in easy walking distance.
The Feathers 40 bedrooms include spacious and individual luxury suites, Four Poster Beds, Spa Baths and Fireplaces.
All rooms are en-suite with both Bath and Shower and all equipped with Flat Screen Television with satelite channels.

The Feathers award winning Restaurant enjoys a reputation for offering traditional, innovative and contemporary cooking using fresh local produce wherever possible with the menu changed daily. We do recommend making a table reservation especially at weekends.
The Feathers Bar , voted as serving the best real ale in Ludlow (2007), offers a varied choice of freshly prepared traditional Pub Food with a superb adjacent courtyard.
During winter months our Real Log Fires add to creating a warm and welcoming environment and residents also have the exclusive use of our historic James I Lounge.

arrived early but could not check in until 3pm, web site said 2pm. Restaraunt very good, food excellent.

Originally booked into a twin room and luckly there was a double available.The ensuite was clean but there was a bit of mold around the shower door. Breakfast was excellent.Did not have dinner in the hotel as there are many good restaurants in Ludlow.Excellent value for two people for £80.

A comfortable and characterful hotel in a good location within the town. The bathrooms were enormous and very well appointed for a UK hotel. I'd have rated the customer service higher but for the fact that there was no offer of assistance getting luggage to and from the room. The service in the dining room was very good, and the food at the evening meal excellent if slightly pricey.

Staff very welcoming,polite and professional.Room good size but a little tired. Comfortable clean bed.Breakfast first class but bar meals not up to same standard. Car parking a little difficult but overall our stay was very enjoyable
