Owners trying very hard to make something of this hotel, which is a little tired in places. Food excellent and staff couldn't do enough for us. We stayed on for a second night so all round we were pleased to have stayed there.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times but whether it is the current economic climate or not I don't know, but it appears to be on the decline. The people who own the hotel are lovely but they seem to be short of staff? I must have been waiting to check in for about ten minutes when the owner finally appeared This was around 4pm. Also at breakfast I could hear two of the staff in the kitchen having a rather heated discussion which was not a pleasant experience.
