The hotel is in an ideal location for all of the local bars and restuarants, and the lake as well. The double room we had, although compact, was very clean and comfortable, with a good view of the lake. There was a good choice of breakfasts available and everything we had was very good. We would definitely return in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oakbank House to anyone thinking of visiting the lakes. |

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Oakbank House, the room was impeccable with a beautiful view and the bed was as comfortable as being at home. The location was great for all the local amenities and attractions of Bowness and we would definately stay there again. Congratulations to the owners who we feel have created a wonderful and friendly place to stay! |
