The receptionist was very abrupt and unfriendly. In fact, she asked for payment when we checked-in, and I asked her to check as I thought it was already paid for. She very abruptly replied that it wasn't and that it was just a reservation, and so she charged my credit-card. Only today did I receive my bank statement and found that I had actually paid on the 16th September, and was re-charged on the 15th October. In fact, I would appreciate if you could help me with this. The room was cold, and there was only a sofa in the room where my daughter could sleep. There was a nasty smell in the corridor (a cleaning solvent smell), but cannot say the room was too bad. |

the hotel was good, the people behind the desk were friendly, but not very helpfull. the Metza restaurant is a complete wast of space. it has no ambience. it is just a place to eat, not cosy. put just a few flowers in it. |

My comments could be for any one of Travelodges sites - the "fast food" of the hotel industry. Always one near when you need it, expect the basic and you won't be disappointed, and always leaves you thinking "I wish I had paid a little bit more and had the real thing". Pleasant reception staff and easy to get to |
