Great place and good value for money. A bit out of town but walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Secure car space an advantage. Recommended. |

It was close to everything, and with a tesco on the bottom floor, it was ideal for me and my groups of friends. Taxi rank around the corner which came in handy! Right next to central station too! Apartment was well set out, and of high quality. Was easy to find, and people were friendly. Would highly recommend this apartment and i would stay again! |

We booked these apartments as we were going to see the Fratellis at the SECC. Good location as it was only a 15 minute walk, but the area looks like it is quite rough, wouldn't fancy walking around late at night. When we arrived we were left waiting outside for nearly 20 mins, although we had called over an hour prior to our arrival. Once inside the apartment had a really bad smell of sick,we then realised that we had no towels, tea, coffe, sugar or our breakfast pack! When we called the mobile number provided, we were told it would be here in the next 2 hours!I advised that we were going out & needed it asap! We were then called back by a lady who rudely told us Housekeeping were busy due to the night before guests trashing the apartment that we were in and it took longer for them to clean (hence the sick smell!)! Not too long after this call I got another call back informing me they had tried to deliver the breakfast bu they couldnt get an answer at the door as the music was too loud! This was not the case & I was angry that we were being accused of this and it was only 6pm!Their breakfast consisted of 4 tesco croissants,a jar of jam, 2litres of milk and a carton of orange juice, well worth the wait and abuse (not!), they still hadn't given us tea or coffee. When we asked for a late checkout, we were informed that they had given the guests arriving the next day an early check-in and we couldn't have one. I fully understand that this is often the case, but to be held up getting in due to guests trashing the place and then to be told we cant get a late checkout due to prioritizing other guests just made us feel that we were not being fairly treated. The apartment was okay, I'm glad I only paid £109 for the 4 of us to stay and it served its propose well. I work in serviced apartments and there is no way at all they provide a 5 star service. Its not the guests place to have to chase them for such basic services. |
