Located in a lovely little village but not ideal for business travel, I booked it based on distance, what I didn't realise is that to get there it was mainly single carriage way so took longer than expected. Free WiFi a bonus. Room was clean but a little weary, could do with updating but saying that I slept like a log. Staff are lovely and friendly, I arrived very late without time to shower before dinner so they brough me room service free of charge, a nice touch! As it was so late I only had soup and a roll, was lovely but curried parsnip is not everyones taste for soup of the day. Food was quite expensive and menu is limited and a little bit fancy for what I wanted after a day at work. All in all a reasonable place if a little expensive at £64 for a single bed. |

The shower in the bathroom has passed its best and needs replacing. Not pleasant to use! The TV in the room was old and small and I was not confident that it was electrically sound? The picture quality was extremely poor! |
