The room was fairly basic, but acceptable. Problem with the hot water which took a long time to come through in the shower. |

It appears that issuing a bill when leasving/checking out is not the norm. Several people including me were just told what the total was to pay and then given a credit card receipt (The receptionist was too busy discussing friend's problems on the phone. When I asked for a copy of the bill I found that I had been charged twice for dinner on two nights, and charged for dinner for one night when we did not have dinner, a total of £70.00 overcharged, I was not impressed with their book keeping and found that the non issue of a bill disturbing. |

The hotel is easy to get to and the bed and breakfast tariff is very good. There are designated car spaces but these are not very accessible so customers are required to leave their car keys at reception. The particular double room we stayed in was unbearably hot with no air conditioning and the frosted glass window faced a brick wall. However, the room was tastfully decorated. There is no evening entertainment but the bar lounge area is relaxing and quiet. |
