The Customer Service was excellent, always being asked if everything was to our satisfaction. We were in the Four Poster Castle Room, which made it a pleasure to come back every evening from a day out sight seeing. The breakfast was self serve which made it easier to take what, and how much, you wanted. There was enough variety to satisfy everyone. We booked Dinner, B&B, which meant the evening meal was more restictive in choice than those paying seperately. but was still very nice food. The Spa Commplex was everything you needed to relax, Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Sunbed and Gym. There are a lot of choices of Hotels around this area, but would recommend you look into Airth Castle before making a decision. The only thing you have to be wary of is that when you're booking, you're more likely to be put into the Resort building rather than the Castle itself, so check this first if it's the Castle you're after. On saying that, the Resort rooms are more modern and closer to all the amenities and we would probably choose one of these next time. |

We managed to get a fabulous twin room (suite) just recently re-furbished in the newer part of the hotel - It was lovely!!! This may have been because my friend phoned beforehand requested a re-furbished room as we knew the hotel was in the process of being renovated. Excellent value for the money we paid with Laterooms. Thankyou. |

Bedroom smelt humidity and mould. Very bad (weak) lights/lamps. Having carpet in a hotel bathroom is disgusting. Very long and poor service at the restaurant (35mn to get toasts at breakfast), quality of food below average and too fancy like watermelon with.... icecream for starter ?! |
