Heating in room was not working on arrival. We called reception who said it takes 20 minutes to become effective. We went out for the evening and came back to a cold room. We tried the heating again and went to bed. It was very cold during the night. i called reception in the morning - they sent someone to check - who confirmed it was not working and sent us a mobile heater. Then on 2nd evening I went to run a bath. No hot water - only from the bath. I called reception - run it for a while they said as you are at the end of the corridor. I ran it for a while - same. No one came. I filled the bath using kettles and the shower hose. On check out I advised of these issues - "how bad is that" she said. I asked her to make a note of these comments. She didnt and as I walked away she was onto the next customer - so probably our expereince has gone unnoticed and the next ones in room 85 will have the same problem. Shocking. We only want three things from a hotel. Comfort, warmth and hot water. |

I found the beds to be very hard and the pillows to be nearly 'none existant' however this is personal preference. Overall I found the room to be small and dated I certainly think there are much better hotels in the area for around the same price. |
