lovely friendly welcome, the new spotlights didnt affect our stay, but very off putting when you arrive in the dark, as you cant see whether the new sign at the bottom is the reception, or if the house at the front! excellent breakfast also, lovely room. really enjoyed one night stay. although the pub had good grub, watch out for the cheeky asking of tips when paying by card!!! |

I stayed here for just one night on business. Nearby is a pub with good - but not cheap - food The room had obviously been renovated some time ago and was a little tired. the bathroom was very dated but worked. Welcome was friendly. Fine for a one nighter but would'nt want to stay for much longer. Did not have breakfast. Reasonable rate - and better than the chain experience. |
