We are a Popular Guest house in the heart of Whitley Bay, close to the Sea Front and all local amenities. Our family run hotel offers the best in quality affordable accommodation with that personal touch. Located in an ideal position 2 minutes away from Whitley Bay's sea front, and the centre of Whitley Bay. We are located on the street 'Esplanade' which runs up from the Sea Front in the centre of Whitley Bay. Rail The Mainline Railway Station of Newcastle links the City with the rest of the country and is within reach of London in just two and a half hours. The hotel was exactly what I expected for the cost. Also, the food was good in line with the price of the accomodation - more than can be said of many more expensive places that I have stayed in around Europe.

Good value for money. Only downside was bedroom very small with no separate bathroom. Shower stall, wash basin and toilet in corner of bedroom. Breakfast good with plenty of choice.

I am unable to review this hotel as when I arrived it was closed for re-furbishment and my reservation had not been forwarded to alternative hotel they recommended. I find this particularly bad service.

Arrived and hotelier couldn't be bothered to come to the door, had to ring him and he then told me he had not booked me in.
