Very clean and comfortable hotel in a quite central and quiet location. It's only a 15min walk to Princes Street or a 5 min walk to nearest bus stop. Buses and Taxis are easy to come by due to the hotels location next to Haymarket station. |

A lovely hotel situated in a beautifully preserved old building. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast is very good with a range of cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheeses and bread, what more can you want from a continental breakfast! The hotel is in walking distance from Princess street and Murrayfield rugby stadium! Will stay there again any time! |

A lovely old building, huge bedrooms in excellent condition. Over our 3 night stay i didn't see 1 person in the hotel bar, might have something to do with the drink prices. Bit of an exaggeration to call it a bar. A very impersonal reception. On the 2nd night of our stay we'd a letter popped under the door requesting immediate payment...... i thought this was strange, we had made a credit card booking? Very poor lighting along corridor where our room which made it very difficult to unlock bedroom door. There isn't a bus stop immediately outside of hotel, bit of a walk to it. Loads of places to eat in the vicinity of the hotel. |
