The hotel was not busy, probably due to the time of the year. The breakfast was not as good as last time I stayed there. |

The rooms were nice - well presented and clean. Unfortunately my room had previously occupied by a smoker who had smoked out of the window (as I discovered when I opened the window to get rid of the smell) and the room still smelled quite strongly when I arrived. Otherwise, great. There was a wedding on, and when we arrived we were asked what sort of time we were thinking of sleeping and if we wanted a room particularly away from the noise. We said yes and heard nothing all night. Very comfortable bed. |

At £85 the best value hotel in Harrogate, room was refurbished and clean, unlike another hotel i stayed at on my last visit which was shabby and tired. The reception areas and restaurant were also in keeping with the grandure of the place. |
