Once a country house, The Charnwood Arms is situated in the rolling Leicestershire countryside, yet minutes from the M1 and M42 motorways, making it the ideal venue for business or pleasure. With a large free car park, we are ideally situated to meet your needs, be in business stopovers, a conference, a weekend break or private event Our caring staff extend out traditional welcome to both buisness and pleasure. Our 34 en-suite bedrooms are fitted and furnished to ensure you relaxation and comfort. All rooms are fully equipped with a bath/shower, tea and coffee making facilities, televisions, table/working area, telephone and hair dryer. there's a choice of single, double and twin rooms available. Extra childs bedcan be supplied. Also available at the Charnwood Arms is a large Two For One Restaurant which serves great value for money food. We serve a good selection of both cask and draught beers and a wide choice of wines by the bottle or glass. The Charnwood Arms makes an excellent base from which to explore leading attractions such as The National Space Centre, East Midlands Airport, Donington Park, Malory Park and the National Forest.

What a find! The accomodation is in the form of self contained rooms set away from the pub so no noise and an apartment type feel to the room. Well appointed with LCD TV, decent shower and biscuits in the room plus a king-size bed - and all very clean.
Food in the attached pub was typical pub fayre, decent choice and average for this kind of place but friendly service and good prices.
Thoroughly recommend the Charnwood Arms, I'll certainly be staying there again as it represents fantastic value for money.

The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly and really make you feel welcome.

bit off beaten track but worth the effort, Very friendly and helpful staff. I made mistake in my booking date and they just laughed and said no problem and sorted it on the spot
