The room was full of mould and the bedding dirty. had to share the room with flies including dead ones on the window sill. The carpets were threadbare and windows filthy. Looks as if it is in desire need of redecoration!!!!!! |

Hotel is ideally located for station and trains into London which was my primary concern, staff were very polite and helpful. Room was a bit shabby carpet worn, paint coming off walls and the shower was not attached to wall and did not work properly, but the bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. If you want practicality at a budget price this is the hotel to use. |

although the room was warm, comfortable and appeared to be cleaned to a high standard on closer inspection there were small cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and mould around the bath taps and broken light fitting over the sink but these are minor comments. The room had a nice view over the Thames we did not eat at the hotel but the menu looked good and value for money with several 2 for £10 options |

Took 20 minutes to check in after asking the bar staff for help twice. Receptionist was with the off duty staff in the breakfast room next to check in and they could be heard getting drunk and shouting the F word at the top of their voice. Eventually the receptionist asked them to be quiet. Then staff moved to bar where one of them stood on a table and pulled her top up ... nice end to the night!! Poor service, decor and overall experience. Very tired place needs some TLC and some management from SPIRIT H O. |
