I was aware the hotel had had some bad reviews in the past, but these all seemed to be pre-refurbishment. Even so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but decided to book as only needed a room for 1 night and it was reasonably priced. |

The Brentwood hotel did exactly what it said on the tin. Nothing struck me as particulalry great, but again, nothing particularly bad either. A perfectly adequate hotel for my purpose, which was a short business stay. The staff were all friendly and polite, the room was clean and in good order. I had one meal in the bar, which was quite disappointing, however breakfast in the hotel eating area was good. |

We had a quiet and nicely furnished warm room. The bed was clean and comfy. The bath was small (bathmat on request) but no handrails to assist stepping into deep bath (we are an elderly couple). Breakfast good in small dining room. Unusual that the hotel didn't have a lounge so guests had to use the hotel bar/pub. Room good value with the laterooms offer. |
