Built in 1867 and originally a grand railway hotel, the Great Victoria is a landmark Victorian building situated in the heart of Bradford.
Over the years, it has been a favourite haunt for wealthy merchants, stars of the stage, and political leaders. Today it is a stylish, hotel with 70 super chic, individually styled bedrooms.
The Hotel has 2 restaurants ; the Corniche Restaurant Bar and Grill and the RBar and serves English food with European influences.
Great Victoria has a good selection of meeting rooms and private dining rooms and a choice of 2 banqueting suites for weddings and events. The hotel was awarded ‘Best Small Venue in Yorkshire 2008' at the Business Insider Tourism Awards
The hotel is opposite Bradford Interchange bus and train station, within walking distance to Bradford’s famous theatres, the National Media Museum and all that the beautiful Yorkshire countryside has to offer.

Shame the rest of Bradford doesn't meet the standards this hotel does! - building is full of character, service and food both excellent - value for money second to none.

We booked a "fourth" room, one of the newly renovated rooms on the 4th floor, and we were very impressed with the special features. The free bowl of fruit was stocked with a nice selection of perfectly ripe fruit, and the free mini-bar came in handy. We were most pleased with the oversized claw-foot bathtub and rain shower in our room, and certainly made the stay even better. The free WiFi was of a decent speed, and came in handy. If we were to travel to Bradford again, we'd definitely stay here.

The room was lovely although much smaller than expected for the price. the promised flatscreen was also very small and too far to view comfortably from the bed. also, none of our windows opened, in the bedroom or bathroom! apart from this the service was great, and the hotel is well located.
