This hotel is located in a part of paris which at first sight is seedy but as you walk around the area you realise that first inpressions aren't always right. When we entered the hotel it was like a breath of fresh air it was clean and tidy and the staff spoke english and were really very friendly. This is a ideal base to see the sights of paris as it is 20mins to the eiffle tower on the metro. |

Just 5 minutes by taxi from Gare du Nord and 2 minutes walk to the nearest Metro station, I found the hotel well placed geographically - perfect for the slightly apprehensive lone traveller! My hotel room was pleasant and clean although I could have done with a slightly larger shower. Hotel staff were very hospitable and friendly and the range of guests that stayed at the hotel made my time there enjoyable. Pigalle is a very vibrant and interesting area. Don't be put off by the overt display of sex shops - in my opinion I found them rather non-threatening! Plenty of pleasant walkways, cafes, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes. Great flea market over the weekends. Excellent base for travelling further afield into the heart of Paris. |
