Also located next to Webbs of Wychbold, Garden Centre. The rooms have benefited from a major refurb in January 2008, with new decor and modern large flat screen televisions offering a full range of digital freeview channels. We are also now offering wireless internet access throughout the Restaurant and Hotel rooms, ideal for the modern buisness traveller and tourist to stay connected whilst away, we like to offer an experience that is the next best thing to home. The Restarauant is intergrated into the building and offers a wide and varied menu and specials for an enjoyable and friendly dining experience. Given the hotel was on the A38, it was perfectly easy to locate and the check-in was relatively painless. The room itself had been recently refurbished and was very pleasant. Unfortunately, our stay was somewhat spoilt by difficulties encountered in getting breakfast. Having been informed breakfast was from 0730-0930, we came down to have breakfast at 0900 to an empty bar and reception. After waiting 10 minutes for a member of staff, I had to find a room cleaner to inform the bar staff of our presence. Once the female staff member arrived, we were made to feel guilty for expecting breakfast towards the end of the allotted period, despite the fact we had already waited for 10 minutes. In addition, having settled for a cooked breakfast each- as we were not made aware of the breakfast menu and options available- we were not even offered tea or coffee after having been shown to our table. Ultimately, the disappointing service provided by the female member of staff on the morning of the 29th July has left a negative lasting impression of the Marstons chain.

Food first class ,easy parking , large clean room with a large flat screen television ,tea coffe and biscuits provided all together excellent value for money.
