At £105 per night I would expect more than a tiny room that is advertised as a Superior room. The little touches like fresh fruit, milk and the sherry are nice but neither the TV nor stereo could live up to its marketing description. The bathroom is very small and the age of it showed in the showerhead and other fittings. |

Lovely room - with a view as requested - quiet location in green square yet very central. Minor reservations - the room did seem rather warm though certainly a fan was provided: blanket on bed looked as if it had seen better days. Overall we enjoyed our brief stay in this very pleasant hotel and appreciated the real coffee, fruit and sherry provided in the room. |

Excellent! The staff were quick, helpful and friendly. The room was small but well-equiped and clean, wioth a good shower (starting to show its age, but perfectly okay). Excellent in-room tea and coffer facilities, including real coffee and fresh milk (ask at reception) and some fresh fruit. The only down-side there was the free sherry - it tasted a bit stale - but where else at that price would you get free sherry? And it might just be Harveys Bristol Cream - too sweet for us. You have to pay for public parking, but you are slap bang in the nice part of a busy city centre with car parking available ouitside the hotel in a beautiful square, so get real. Also, if you are like me - slightly disabled and have a genuine blue-ticket - it is free. We didn't eat in the hotel so we can't comment, but the menus and prices looked good, so next time we stay there, we will try it. Yes, we will stay there again! |

Excellent position within minutes of restaurants and bars. Only on-street parking, (pay & display) but space was not a problem at night. |
