We stayed here for one night en route to another destination and were throughly pleased with everything. Lovely location. The room was clean and the sheets were freshly laundered cotton with plenty of fluffy towels in the bathroom. Had a drink in the bar, which was very cosy as the rain was beating down outside. Dined in the restaurant - service excellent and the homemade food cooked to order was faultless. So delicious!! I recommend the steak and ale pie. The bill was a shock - so cheap!! |

Very helpful, friendly staff. We stayed in one of the rooms in the converted barn which was quaint. Lovely breakfast - the kippers were beautiful! |

Disappointed - not sure if this hotel was about to fail or was about to be taken over. |

Directions to hotel very easy. Lovely location - although on main road was very quiet with open countryside around. Was spending a few days with my daughter. Our room was very comfortable but could have done with a few cobwebs removed! En suite very clean and shower gel, shampoo, liquid soap and hand/body lotion all provided. Main hotel and dining room was very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only had breakfast but was excellent - good choice of dishes and service fast and friendly. Would definitely stay again. |
