Residence Santa Chiara

This ancient bourgeois house was built in the second half of the 16th century in the historical centre of Lucca, inside the medieval boundaries.
It is located in front of the suggestive gardens of Bottini Villa, once residence of Elisa Bonaparte. From the Residence Santa Chiara, you can easily reach all principal historical attractions of the old city in a few minutes and the beautiful sights of Tuscany.
Completely renovated in 2006, the hotel is composed of the main building with all rooms with private bathroom and air-conditioning.
In the beauty season, from April-September, guests can enjoy their breakfast buffet in the little garden.

Placed in favorable position, it allows to easily visit all the beauties in Tuscany as Florence, Pisa, Siena, St. Gimignano, the sea of the Versilia or the mountains of the Garfagnana without forgetting the outskirtses of Lucca with her magnificent Villas and the farms.By car:enter inside the medieval walls of Lucca from Porta Elisa,then turn at the first right Via Bacchettoni and the first left Via Brunero Paoli,at the end of the street, corner Via S.Chiara there is our Residence.

    Very happy with this accommodation, received a friendly welcome and room was nicely decorated with good sized private bathroom. Location was good - within city walls and easy to find from train station. Would certainly recommend - great value for money, exceeded my expectations.
    Only suggestion would be that laterooms include information on the booking confirmation about not being able to check in over lunchtime (1.30pm - 3pm) to help people to plan.
