Whilst room and hotel was very good didn`t expect one of the beds to be a pull down settee it certainly wasn`t advertised in that way ("twin bedded room" in the write-up!!) Staff were very polite and helpful. It was also easy to find and had good transport links with Newcastle. |

The Hotel is functional and central for my needs. The room rates have risen from £55 to £65 for a Double Room from w/c 27/10/08 to w/c 3/11/08.I opt to take a Double Room with Single Occupancy as the Single Rooms are cramped. This increase is excessive and not merited as the hotel does not provide this level of value. I will stay again at short notice however I am now shopping around as the hotel is not worth £65 a night. |

The hotel has a nice facade and is in a good location for the A1 but my room smelt like it had been transported from a care home. |

This hotel was lovely. Rooms very nice, staff friendly and lovely (if a little expensive) food. The only grudge I had was how late the check in time was. Would definately stay there again! |
