The room had no bath or shower, which was not made clear when booking. Very overpriced for the standard offered. |

Highly recommended, if you don't mind paying! For a small hotel, the Jesmond Dene is expensive, but it leaves cheaper alternatives dead in the water. The service was good, with bags carried upstairs promptly and willingly. The room was quiet and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed and good quality bed linen. There was plenty of natural light, as well as more than adequate room lighting. The shower was very good. A satisfying English breakfast was provided in pleasant surroundings. The waitress willingly offered two eggs as a vegetarian substitute for the bacon and sausage (although for the price, the hotel should perhaps offer a more substantial non-meat alternative). I would certainly stay here again. |

Excellent all round. The staff were friendly and helpful, the full English breakfast was fantastic, the room was clean and modern. Very convenient location, about two minutes walk from King's Cross / St. Pancras. |
