Hotel Vecellio

we loved this hotel. very easy to get to from marco polo airport, just get the waterbus to fondamente nouve get off and turn left, walk over the bridge and 3 minutes later at the hotel door. lovely atmosphere and very romantic feel all the staff are really friendly and helpful. only 15 minutes walk at the most to the rialto bridge and st marks square. will definately stay here again. one slightly minus point but not a big problem was there is not a bath in the room.

No lift and narrow stairs. Indifferent breakfast. Not good value for what it is, though where is in Venice !

Disappointing. On the plus side, a convenient location and room was clean. On the negative side, the superior room should not have had a window overlooking a dingy side street and the room was far too small for the price. Not horrendous, just not value for money. THere is better to be found.

The location of this hotel was brilliant. 100 metres from airport water bus route stop. Away from all the hustle and bustle which is lovely to escape. The owner if very friendly and gives loads of advice of where to eat, etc, so as not to get ripped off. A comfortable hotel and good value for it's money. Would definately use again.

So easy to get to from the airport by waterbus. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and well furnished. 10-15 minute walk to San Marco. Would definately stay here again on another trip to Venice.
