Great B & B, very close to town centre - only 5 minutes walk to all shops and restaurants. Comfortable room with everything you would need for a short stay. Sharon made us very welcome. We stayed in room 2 - separate bathroom wasn't much of a problem as it was only for our use - fluffy gowns provided to save embarassment on the stairs! Breakfast was good - all cooked fresh, no waiting. Slightly later at weekend would have been good instead of 9.00 a.m. especially if you are staying two nights. Would stay here again and would recommend it to others. |

Located on a quiet residential street, the location is perfect - about a 10 minute walk into Bowness where most of the bars/restaurants are and 20 minutes from Windemere. We had booked the only room left, which was the smallest room with no ensuite, however it was not a problem because we still had our own private bathroom and robes were provided which was a nice touch. The room is lovely, very homely and spotlessy clean with a very comfy bed!. The breakfast is ordered the night before she can have it ready when you come down in the morning, nicely presented and enough to give you a good start to the day! We would definately book again if we went back to the area. Best things about it were the cleanliness, the location and the fact that Sharon leaves you be so you can relax and enjoy your time in Bowness! |

We booked here for the food which was better than expected. A warm and friendly place. The one thing missing might be a sitting room for the guests, but you really don't want to be inside much anyway, so that's a small complaint. |
