Russell's of Broadway has hit the local scene with a brand new concept: A restaurant with rooms. Set in the centre of one of the most famous and idyllic villages in England. Russell's is a perfect blend of old and new, of modernity and antiquity. Local produce takes centre stage in the restaurant's seasonal menu, along with Alfresco dining, weather permitting. Russell's was the heavenly highlight of our trip. It was our "luxury" night over a two week holiday and it lived up to all expectations. Superbly presented, stylish rooms in a beautiful old stone building in a quaint, but extremely well serviced Cotswolds village. we had a super comfortable bed, roomy ensuite and a truly charming setting. (Also, having forgotten my hairdryer, Russells provided the first complimentary hairdryer in a room in over a week! I was, by that stage pretty desperate and about to buy one) Also room had double glazing, very quiet. Could have easily made it home for an extended period. Only negative, was the renowned restaurant was not open for the night of our stay - which was disappointing - and that had not been advised on our booking - but the staff were happy to recommend the Swan Inn down the road and it turned out to be somewhat cheaper, but still excellent. Great food and friendly service. As for Russell's - In a word: stunning.

First class location with excellent service from all the staff. The quality of the food at breakfast and evening dinner was top notch ! Would definitely recommend for any couples seeking a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

Very convienently placed in the middle of the town.Clean,modern and comfortable acocmmadation.Friendly staff,good breakfast. Very wellplaced as base for visiting area.
