Follow the M8 towards Glasgow and continue onto the M73 and then M74.Exit at A725 towards East Kilbride. Continue for about 4 miles and at the fork take a right towards Paisley. Take a right again at the roundabout and then left at the next roundabout and follow the signs for Paisley. Continue for two and a half miles where the hotel is located on the right.

plenty free parking bus stops outside hotel for glasgow and east kilbride centre. bar prices a bit steep bottle house wine £15.50 . a pint £3.45 normal lager.food quality very good.

When we arrived at the hotel at 7pm after driving for 3 hours the hotel had no booking for us.
From what we saw it looked a lovely hotel and would like to stay in future but perhaps booking direct would be advisable.

The family room was fantastic, it had plenty of room and a seperate bit with a single bed which my son aged 8 loved. Would defo stay here again. All the facilities were great and the staff execellent.

Never actually got t stay at the hotel due to double booking. After intitally being upset with the hotel for this because we were only informed at 7.30pm the evening of checking in, also the receptionists very unprofessional appoach to the whole thing not to mention telling us that we didnt pay for the room fast enough thats why we never got the room (beware if you have not yet paid for the room and travelling for miles that you dont turn up until 7.30pm to find your room being taken)
I will however say that the management were totally accomodating and although there were no rooms that they could put us in they did find us a good room in an alternative hotel with an excellent receptionist who helped calm us down.
The management at the Holiday Inn did go well out of their way to allow us to use the facilities and enjoy the weekened!! which turned the whole situation around.
As far as the restaurant and fitness area is concerned for which we had the please of experiencing, I can say they are well worth using! the fitness suite is one of the most organised and cleanest I have seen (Very enjoyable) and the restaurant serves a very filling / tasty bar snack, the bar staff are very social and pleasant with brilliant sense of humour!
