City Apartments Glasgow

this hotel is great, right in city centre with walking distance to everything. Easy to find, check in place is 2 seconds around the corner. No noise atall from other people. Rooms are really big and spotless. Great price, we were really shocked at what we got for the money and will definitely be going back.!!! superb

I booked a room at city apartments to take my better half away for her birthday thinking it would be a different experience than simply just going to a regular hotel. I was impressed with the photos shown online, however when we arrived the flat was quite different to what had been shown. It was much smaller than originally expected and there were quite a few problems...My girlfriend went to use the bathroom and the door lock was hanging off and subsequently came off in her hand. Then the towel rack fell off the wall. Not a good start!! When we went to draw the blinds, we noticed that one was hanging off and was all damaged down the side. And below the blinds were dirty brown marks. Nice!! The final straw came the next morning when I got up early to make breakfast in bed. Imagine my annoyance when I realised that the kettle didn't work!!
I raised my rather lengthy list of issues on checking out, thinking they may want to sort them out before the next visitor experienced the same problems, only to be told "So you've had a bit of a DIY weekend!" Pretty safe to say I won't be returning!!

I booked this apartment to use for my birthday. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which sleeps 4. We were absolutly delighted with the apartment. Everything is first class, beds, shower, tv's. Has everything you need, dish washer, fridge freezer & cooker.
We had no bother checking in using the hotel round the corner and the same with checking out. We were only asked not to smoke which wasnt a problem for us.
Plenty of fresh towels in both bathrooms.
The only downside would be that its slightly noisy first thing in the morning but wasnt a major problem.
We will defo be staying here again - already booked up for new year :)

Apartments were clean and tidy and the one we stayed in had a balcony with a stunning view over Glasgow especially at night with the lights on. Was disappointed that the WiFi was not compatible with either Windows Vista or windows XP but the staff at the parent hotel were helpful and tried their best to help us.

Excellent location and very spacious apartments with well equipped modern kitchen. Have already recommended to friends
