Hotel was charming; staff very agreeable and helpful. Lovely restaurant - we ate in the conservatory - and excellent food, but very expensive. A pleasant walk in the grounds, with a fishpond and lots of peacocks! I marked the room down a point as the bedroom was a little on the small side. We were in Les Cottages, a converted stable block. Nicely decorated room and a good bathroom with wonderful thermostatic taps but just slightly too narrow. |

Hotel, Grounds and Staff were all marvelous. To have a drink or meal there is very expensive. We went to the Bistro down the road (Turn left as you come out of the gates and go down to the traffic lights) and had a 3 course meal with drinks, coffee & liquers for a little bit more than a meal for one would cost at the hotel. Breakfast is 16 Euros per person so we went into town and had coffee & Croissants on the beach. |
