What a fantastic hotel. The service was first class and the food great. I will certainly visit again and take others with me.

Very pleasant staff. Attending a wedding function so limited opportunity to sample general food - although breakfast was pretty good.

A large group was booked into the banquetting suite on Saturday night and there was no space in the bar or lounge. We had to retire to our room at 9.30pm on Saturday night (having just been out for a meal to celebrate our birthdays).
Bar staff and waiting staff were excellent. Reception was a bit frosty.
We would stay again, but would check that there were no functions booked.

Room a bit small with very small shower room. For one night and one person it was fine but not more. Decor however was great. Food was very good. Roadworks on A66 make it a little awkward to get to but don,t be put off. Excellent value at Late Room price
